Given the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, registrations numbers are lower than previous seasons. Due to these low registration numbers and the need to assess the ability to safely and efficiently conduct the 2020 Fall Season, SASA is extending Fall registration and delaying the start of the season. Registration will now be open until August 31 st , the AGM will tentatively be September 14 th , and the tentative season start date will be October 10 th 

Over the next several weeks, the SASA Board will be working on functional solutions to a variety of possibilities that we could see in the fall. We all want to see our kids play, therefore, all our efforts will be towards having a season while keeping, parents, players, and referees safe. The upcoming season will very likely be different as we adhere to all local and state safety requirements.    We ask for your patience and understanding during this time.     

Our hope is that we will not be faced with a decision to cancel the season or have to issue refunds. However, in the event that the season is cancelled, refunds will be determined by several factors but most importantly how many, if any, games have been played. IF, and again we hope cancelling the season does not become an option, but if we must cancel, we will work to make timely decisions that will allow for full refunds, but this can not be guaranteed.  

If you feel you can contribute to the continuation of the Fall Season and seasons to come, please consider joining our board. We have several openings that are listed on our website. Our website also has contact information for who to contact regarding registration and coach questions. We do not have anyone working in the office and email is the best way to contact any of our board members.

In the event that the Fall season is canceled prior to any games being played due to COVID-19, SASA will refund each player minus a $25 administrative fee per our bylaws. If the season is in play and is forced to come to a close, SASA will again retain the $25 administrative fee and look to refund players at a prorated amount.
